Become a Web Developer
These are some of the things I didnt know personally and learned after watching the video:
Front end developer
A lot of different JavaScript framework branches
React.js most recommended to start learning them
Back End developer
3 diff languages: scripting, functional, high performance
scripting is the best for back end
node.js is the best to start with
Haskell and then go/golang or rust is the best when you want to challenge yourself even more
Things to learn for language:
Testing for chosen technology
API’s/ RESTEM Services
Security
Authorization/Authentication
SOA
Deployment
ORM/Data Structuring
Database:
Relational, session/caching, search engines
Caching: Apache, Database, in Memory
DevOps (After Backend)
Web Platforms: Digital Ocean, Amazon Web Services (AWS)
Docker: to expand DevOps (Recommends Rancher)
I have seen so many Frontend, Backend, and DevOps jobs but never knew what the fundamentals of each were. After watching this video I found out the progression of each and was very informed of on how to go about each of them. Usually I thought you could learn any of them as a beginner but a lot of it has to do with slowly progressing over time and that helped me learn more about how the frontend and backend developer works.
